REPORTERS WANTED
The Baker County Press is currently accepting letters of
interest for up to three reporters. Pay is per article/photo.
The fi rst opening is for a reporter to steadily cover Haines
and North Powder news, including community and school
events, City Council meetings, etc.
The second opening is for the Richland / Halfway area
and will focus primarily on City Council coverage in that
area. Serves as backup for event coverage.
We are also looking to add a new reporter to help cover
Baker City stories as needed. May also have the option of
covering Medical Springs and Keating. We simply want
the ability to cover more news events than we can currently
attend!
Flexible hours. Great supplemental part-time work. Must
be able to write in article format, have an excellent grasp of
English, be dependable and meet deadlines. Not seeking
social columns. We’ve been very blessed with our current
team and are looking for the right fi t. Contact editor@the-
bakercountypress.com.
