Munsell
Continued from Page 1
Munsell and her alleged
target are no strangers to
the courtroom. Earlier
this year, Munsell sought
and obtained a restraining
order against her ex, which
she then rescinded a few
months later.
Less than a week before
her arrest, Munsell had
been denied an attempt
for an emergency cus-
tody change in which she
sought to have all parental
visiting time withheld from
her ex.
Emergency custody
orders generally aren’t
approved unless one parent
can establish that the other
parent poses an immediate
threat to the child’s safety.
Munsell’s claims fell short
of that, and Judge Greg
Patrol car damaged
Baxter denied her request.
District Attorney Matt
Shirtcliff said that addi-
tional charges are possible
following the Grand Jury,
but doesn’t expect the case
to reach the Grand Jury for
at least another week.
More information will be
released from the District
Attorney’s offi ce at that
time.
Happy New Year!

On December 28, at around 7:10 p.m., two Oregon State Police troopers work-
ing a crash scene on I-84 near milepost 356 were outside their patrol car with
emergency lighting activated when a car approached at too high of a rate of
speed for the conditions and lost control. The car struck the patrol car causing
damage to both. Both the driver of the car and the troopers were uninjured dur-
ing the crash however, the patrol car had to be towed from the scene.
