Frame of New Gymnasium
Beginning to Take Shape
Over the past few weeks most
students have probably noticed
the skeleton of the new girl's gym
slowly taking shape. The entire
pre-fabricated shell should be
finished shortly after Christmas.
At that point work w ill begin on
the interior. The inside will
feature a gym floor with mark
ings for a standard girl's basket
ball court, one volleyball, and
three badminton courts. In addi

The building, according to

Mr. Silver added that the building
will probably be completed by the

A Christmas atmosphere pre

High School Band and Choir
began their 1972 Winter Concert.
The Band featured a trumpet
trio that consisted of Joe Al

Newcomers Met
A new organization, the "New
comers Club," has been formed.
Its purpose is "to help new girls
get acquainted more easily"
according to Mrs. Margaret
Zwick, advisor.
Lucy Bodilly organized the
club. She is a new student and
thought AHS could use a new
comers club.
The club seems to be off to a
slow start since there are only
four members. However, Mrs.
Zwick stated, "The club will be
available this year to show new
girls around and help them get
acquainted."
