Therefore, we have provided the recently elected officers of the Executive Council with the opportunity to reveal their plans and ambitions for the future. Next year's Student Body President Dave Jensen thinks the Council should "channel our efforts in different and better directions." He feels work on the constitution should not be em phasized. Dave would like to see more activities in the winter when things often seem to bog down. Oregon 482-5359 The thirty-five delegates and two faculty advisors left for the Model Democratic Presidential Nominating Convention in Port land early Wednesday morning. At the convention, over 3000 delegates from all over the state will attempt to nominate a Democratic Presidential candi date. The convention lasted three days and the delegates are expected back this afternoon. Mary Toney has been selected to fill the office of Student Bodv Treasurer for the year HI 12-4.1. She was appointed to the position by Mr. Yauter of the Business Department.
