Their strength lies in floor exercise and vaulting competition. Miss Smith, their all-around competitor this season, has been averaging 20.0 in AA competition this year compared to Pam Hoffburh's 21.62 average so far this season. Crater had four girls place at district and attend the state competition of which Miss Smith is the only returning gymnast. Miss Gilbert, placed sixth on the bars but no one attended State due to the fact that it is a "very tough district." club in the conference. The Pelicans are in the thick of the battle for the conference crown. The Grizzlies proved their poten tial by beating the Pels earlier in the season and hope to repeat that performance. Lewis High Scoring Guard The Junior Varsiy is led by high scoring guard Charlie Lewis. Lewis is complimented by rugged Tony Testerman and hustling Don Sorenson.
