Players Honored As
All-Conference Team
Despite a 5-4 record, Ashland
landed eight positions on the
All-Southern Oregon Conference
football team.
Wynn Wenker and Mark
Wilson were named to the first
team offense. Wenker as a guard
and Wilson as a split end.
Ashland also holds two positions
on the team defense. Kerry
Kceton was picked as a tackle
and Mark Walter was picked as
one of the ends.
Ashland has four members on
the second team, two on offense
and two on defense. Keith
Wentela was chosen as
quarterback for the second
team. Carey Schmaltz was
picked as one of the tackles,
Charley Taylor as one of the
guards and Andy Lonch as one
of the linebackers.
