A field trin tn the Hrrann
Coast on May 23, proved to be a
learning experience to a group of
students from the laboratory
assistant program.
The purpose of the field trip
was two-fold. It was designed to
provide a field experience in
True But Strange
CORPUS CHRISTl, TEX.
-Peter Rostow, 17-year-old son
of former Presidential adviser (to
LBJ and JFK) Walter Rostow,
was arrested for possession of
marijuana while fishing on Padre
Island. His father now lectures at
the University of Texas.
r Congratulations
DEBI GATES and Jacque Leigh have been honored by being
chosen to attend science workshops this summer. Miss Gates
will stay at University of Kansas for six weeks, and Miss Leigh
will attend University of Washington for nine weeks.

received marijuana from his girl
friend by passing it between
their mouths when they kissed
during her visits.

rescue one of her pet kittens
which got into her vacuum
cleaner. The animal was removed
unharmed.

along the trip back home.

Forgotten AHS
Now Remembered
Another long
forgotten faction
at AHS includes
the hardworkers
in the auto shop.
The Rogue News,
in its last issue
wishes to present
a few photos, at
least to inform
the students that
the auto shop
department does
exist.

contraption, it is
only a ford
machine.
Contrary to
popular opinion,
auto shop may
not be exactly
the micky-mouse
class it appears.
At least to a girl
this maze of tools
seems confusing
enough.
