I r by Connie Bulkley For many years the crafts and woodshop departments have long been an unnoticed faction of Ashland High School. The Rogue Newi observed this oversight, and we went to these departments to give recognition to the achievements of those who involved in these classes. Throughout the year, craft students have been involved in many projects. One of the many involves rocks. Students have made jewelry and other handiworks involving polished stones. The process involves from the grinding of stones to proper shape, to the final glueing of the finished product. Another project involves leather working. Woodshop students, too displayed projects they had been involved in during the year. Our personal thanks and recognition goes to Mr. Mobley, Mr. Titus, Mr. James and Mrs. Harker who permitted the Rogue News to take pictures.
