MEDFORD GETS REVENGE
A boiling Medford Tornado bas
ketball team got its revenge last
Friday night by beating the Ash
land High Grizzlies 71 to 49 in
a game in Medford. The Big Wind
blew hard to try and repair the
damage that the Grizzlies had
done to the Tornado's chances
of going to state.
It was the second victory in
three games for the Twister.
Jack Ford led the Wind in
scoring with 21 points: Larry
Vowell had 16 and Bill and Miles
had 10. Jim Lamb got 11 for the
Grizzlies followed by Rick Pierce
with 9.

Due to the lack of numbers on
the Grizzly wrestling team, Ash

The "Twins" Dale and Gale Tepper are two of our most import
ant basketball players.
Tepper Brothers Spark Grizzlies
The Tepper boys give the Ash
land Grizzlies speed, shooting,
and rebounding. These talented
twins are consistently making
points and pushing the Grizzlies
toward victory.
Since they are twins Gale and
Dale Tepper were both born in
Klamath Falls and are 17 years
old. However, they are not ident
ical twins. Dale is 6'1" and 170
pounds while Gale is 5'10" and
160 pounds.
Dale Tepper, a tall, good-looking
Grizzly, was high-point man
against Medford, Shasts, and
Grants Pass, and moves the ball
with amazing ability. Dale is a
aportman through and through. He
hunts, fishes, and water skis in
addition to playing basketball and

the last few games and with his
brother Dale, was instrumental in
the Grizzly victories over Medford
and Klamath Falls. Gale partici
pates in many sports in school

are sports and cars and he dis
likes show-offs. As his brother
Dale, Gale plans to enter college
