A new Industrial Arts building is being erected next to the park ing lot. This structure will contain space for woodworking, crafts, metalworking, drafting, and auto mechanics. Woodworking and drafting are taught by Mr. Mobley, while Mrs. Trost and Mr. James teach crafts. Mr. James also in structs metalworking and auto mechanics. The cost of this build ing is estimated at $120,000. It was partially paid for with funds raised by last year's Minstrel show presented by Mr. Bernard Windt and the Music department. One thousand three hundred forty two from the show went toward the total cost of $2,007. The difference came from the local school board. Two rooms have been made out of the former drafting room. Mr. Barlow is using one of the rooms to teach senior basic math, phys ical science, and physics. English and Modern Problems are being taught by Miss Rhymes in the other new room. On the second floor of the main building, women faculty members have their own room. All 43 members of the team were introduced by the coach to the student body.
