Admissions was 75 cents stag and $1.00 acouple. The dance being held at the Elks Lounge started at 8:00 p.m. and ended at 11:00 p.m. The Elks Lounge was decorated in red and white, with cupids and hearts as the designs. Music was furnished by Mr. Maddox and the band. King's Court was as follows: King Dale Linenger and Queen Sandy Hamilton. Each Hi-Y and Tri-Hi Y club may select two or its mem bers to be delegates, senators, or representives. and two observes. They may also have one member elected to a state office. There are three objectives to this program. The first is to anable Hi-Y and Tri ll Y members to better understand the process of American democratic govern ment. Another is to provide ex-1 pei ience in developing use for constructive legislation. The third ; objective is to inform youth of the problems, privileges, obligations i and responsibilities in the Amer ican democracy. Every club works out a new j bill or amendement which they feel would make a good state law.
