All that is required to enter is a partner. New plans for the Quill and Scroll Club include a conclave or playday. The club has invited Quill and Scroll members from Medford, Grants Pass, Klamath Falls, Rouge River, and Eagle Point. The conclave will be held in February. Another activity is the Press Banquet to be held in March. Final plans have not yet been made. Jim McKenzie is the owner of a 1957 Corvette, which is the sports-car made by Chevrolet It has a fiberglass body that is colored turquoise with white paneling. HUNT Under the hood is a 283 cu. in. eight cylinder engine with dual four-barrel carburetors, which can produce up to 270 horsepower. This engine is geared by a three speed floor box. With this gear box, Jim can obtain speeds of 50 MP1I in first gear, 80 MPH in second gear, and 110 MPH in third. The first meeting was Dec. 19, Club Day. The purpose of Blind Pianist Plays at NSA Mr. Dick Hanson, a blind pianist and humorist, and his guide dog, Carmen, entertained the A II S. student body and faculty at the National School Assembly on Jan. 9, 1962. The program given by Mr. Han son consisted of piano music and numerous jokes and puns. He also demonstrated how braille is written, as well as showing various articles made especially for the blind. These included dominoes, playing cards, a braille Reader's Digest, and a chess set. On Monday December 18, Tri- Hi-Y held their introduction for new members at 7:30 in the school library. New members inducted were Carol Ann James, Carolyn Har mon, Linda Flood, Linda Wells, Pat Woods, Darlene Clements, Kirsten Lassen, Anne Cluff, and Sharon Lantis. Tri-Hi-Y also had a guest speak er. She was Mrs. Mabel Winston, girl's dean at Southern Oregon College. An Extra Hour? If there were an extra hour in every day. what would you do with it?
