Controversial Subject Analyzed
A very satirical view has been composed by an
unknown author concerning the very serious subject
of scholarship.
The more you study; the more you know;
The more you know, the more you forget;
The more you forget, the less you know
So why study?
The less you know, the less you forget;
The less you forget, the more you know
So why study?
Scholarship seems to be the basis of much dis
cussion. In analyzing this, it would be best to begin
by breaking down this controversial work. By de
finition a scholar i3 a student; a ship is an object
that sails.
However, ships are of two classifications : those
that drift and those that sail under their own power.
Either variety may or may not reach its desti
nation. Either may or may not travel through un
charted waters. The main difference then, is the
fact that one is led astray by other influences while
the second sets it goal and strives to achieve it.
The student confronted with the passage on the THE most
