"Last year we won four matches, which consider ing it was the first year, was n't bad in this conference." There is some promising tal ent this year, states Engel. In addition to five returning let termen, fifty - nine students have turned out for the squad. Some of the teams the Griz zly grapplers are matched a gainst are Medford, Klamath Falls, Grants Pass, Roseburg, and Glendalc. Mr. Engle summarized the forecast for the conference with the prediction that Grants Pass and Klamath Falls are better than the less experienc ed Ashland squad at the pre sent time. The squad is now composed of 20 freshmen, 23 sophomores, 8 juniors, and 9 seniors. The bulk of the talent will come later from the underclassmen.
