ASHLAND SKI CLUB The Ashland Ski Club has organied this year with Dave Dixon, president; Don Ross, vice piesident; and Judy Mil ler, secretary. Forty members have joined the club, according to Dave Dixon. DRAMA CLUB Drama Club was organied and officers were elected. Jeannie Bjorlie is the president and Miss Christopher will be the club's advisor. WESTERN PRESS INSTITUTE Lee Osgood and Betty Duffy attended the Western School Press Institute in Eugene the week of August 18th. The insti tute, hcld-on the I'niversity of Oregon campus, offered a pro gram of intensive study on the role and functions of the high tchool yearbook and news paper. Five western states were represented by the 203 students who attended. He is 15 years old, and was born in Holland where he liv ed six years and started school. Then he and his family moved to Australia, stopping at Cairo, Egypt, and other points of in terest on the way. After half a year in Australia they moved to New Zealand, where they lived for nearly eight years. Then they came to the U. S. which took two year ; of red tape, and stayed at Los Angeles for a short while. They didn't like Los Angeles because it was too big and far away from nature. From there they drove north to Ashland where Han's father found a good job as- a tool and die maker which is his trade. Han likes to hunt and hike. In New Zealand one of his fav orite pastimes was climbing mountains and starting ava lanches.
