Inside Platter Party
By Judy Campbell
Perhaps many of you don't
know what goes on down at
KWIN radio station on Thurs-
'"."" J,"v-
down there to cover a story
, , . ,. ,-,,
and found myself surrounded
bv teenaeers One room is al-
by teenagers one room is u
most completely devoted to
dancing and the other has com-
fortable couches on which to
it and enjoy the program.
The staff from AHS consists
of Kay Engle, Lee Seitz, Judy
Alley, Sally Lane, and Priscil-
la Neilson. According to Kay,
"The radio show is doing very
well this year, with no com
plaints, and lots of fun and
teenegers. We hope to start
some panel groups and have
some real live talent. If any
body is interested in being on
ti.e show just contact anyone
on the staff."
I was told that if anyone
had club announcements you
could just drop them in the re-
quest boxes anywhere they are
located and thev will be read
on the next program or at any
time specified.

Students, we have a nice
thing here, let s not abuse It.
Remember when you are down
at KWIN to act orderly and
not be rowdy as background
noises are picnea uu over uie
air and annoy listeners. This
is a great experience for us
and should not be misused. The
management of KWIN may
discontinue many of our pnvi-
leges if students display any-
thing but good conduct.
Don't forget to tune in Plat-
ter Party each Thursday even-
ing from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. at
1440 on your radio dial. That's
KWIN in Ashland.
