It will be : Dec. 13 and 14 at Pacific Uni versity at Forest Grove. Events wi be men and worrier's di visions of debate, extempore speaking, oratory, humorous interpretations, and serious in terpretations. The extemp tap ic is labor-management rela tions. Speakers will be givei 30 miuntes to prepare six--i.nute talk on seme phase of th' topic. Debating will be on the resolution: Resolved: that direct United States economic aid to individual countries should be limited to technical assistance and disaster relief. Speakers in each event have three preliminary rounds in which they are given a 1, 2, 3, or 4 depending on their rank. Speakers with the lowest ac cumulative score go into the fnals where the winners are determined. Las' year's team received F-cond place in men's extemp nu third place in women's de bate.
