Although two losses in two
games does not speak too well
for the Ashland High Grizzlies, a
there are many who think that
the Grizzlies could go a long
way this fall.

bies have a good balance of
size and speed throughout the
entire squad.
Number two is that there
are SO football players out
there that have the desire to
play hard, rough, winning
football, a trait that has been
missing in Ashland in the past.
Number three is the vicious
hard driving tackles shown by
the entire defensive unit of
the Grizzlies in both games so
- Tki. (,nnin
was especially 'evident in the
Roseburg game as the Indians
fumbled five times. These fum-
bles were not accidents, they
were the result of hard tack-
ling.

spirit shown so far by the A
H.S. student body. A factor
that is necessary in any team's

success.
With these reasons in mind
let's keep a close watch in the
Ashland Grizzlies of 1957.
