Mr. Engel is finding his

hectic. In addition to "teaching

Mr. Engel majored in physical

Margaret Hull and Judy Fa
der were the representatives to
Girls' State.
The purpose of Girl's State
is to give girls a chance to
learn about their local and
state governments. They do
this by setting up model city,
county, and state governments
in which the girls themselves
hold offices. Girls from all
oyer the state of Oregon met
at Willamette University
where it was held.
Margaret and Judy left Ash
land at 2:30 a.m. June 16 by
Greyhound bus. They stayed
in a campus dorm at the uni
versity. Each day they attend
ed lectures and the model gov
ernment sessions.
