Woodrow
WOOD ROW BROCK
This blue-eyed senior boy
popped into the world along
with all the fire crackers on
July 4, 1938 in Miami, Arizona.
He moved to Ashland nine
years ago at the age of eight.
Woody s favorite pastime is
doing nothing and that is just
what he can be found doing al
most any time of the day.
He always patronizes movies
starring Gary Cooper or Kim
Novak and he can't be dragged
from the radio while "Poor
People of Paris" is being play
ed. His pot peeve is giggling
girls. A few other of Woody's
favorites are the color blue,
spice cake, and a brown-eyed
junior girl whose last name is
stranigely similar to his.
After graduating Woody
plans to work and grow rich.

Turner's Talk
Greetings to all you people
with sunshiny faces, long time
no see.
If you notice a creature walk
ing down the hall looking like
a shaggy dog, it's not really, it
is only Hal Edick or some other
senior boy trying to prove he
can grow a beard.
If any of you attended the
Smoker, you saw two of the
better wrestlers from Holly
wood. The Bearded Bill Bebber
and Don-the-Man??? Church.
You boys really put on quite a
show, don't you?
Since Harry's and Lance's
"groudge" fight came out a
draw, it doesn't seem like too
much was settled.
Well, well, just think. Only
three weeks left until the sen
iors are out! (Chuckle, chuckle)
You poor underclassmen have
an extra week to spend in the
dungeon!
I understand there is quite a
battle going on between th(
freshmen boys and girls. All
that fuss over a bench? Why
don't you boys give up and let
the girls have it. They always
win anyway.
