Turner's Talk
By Barbara Turner
Well, all you gorgeous little
fiends, I'm back again. It
seems that Halloween night the
town was really jumping.
You can imagine the shocked
look on peoples faces when
some senior girls rang their
doorbells and said "trick or
treat."
Some of the junior boys
came to the rescue of Nancy
and her followers when she got
her car stuck up on a hill. The
girls were on a very important
mission.
I hear someone in the vicin
ity of the park turned a blush
ing pink. I wonder who it was?
The Speech class has been
telling jokes lately. I guess
Mickey is pretty good at it.
The man who was sitting on
the sign at Selby's will have an
awful long time to wait before
he sees the new Chevrolets. It
seems he lost his head Hallo
ween and got carried away.
From what I hear, Randy
will adopt the theme song "I
Must Go Where The Wild
Goose Goes." Were they real
ly big ones Randy???
Bye fiends, I'll see you next
issue. (I hope).

for her ideal boy, which she
describes as tall, dark and
handsome, when he takes her
out to eat, because her favorite
food is roast duck.
Connie's favorite color is
green and her pet peeve is hard
work. As her favorite actor and
actress she thinks Monty Clift
and Ava Gardner are only sli
ghtly super.
The song she favors at the
present time is "I'm Gonna Sit
Right Down and Cry."
After graduating, Connie
plans to go to college.
Poet's
Five hundred years ago today
A wilderness was here;
A mart with powder in his gun
Went forth to hunt a deer.
But now that things have
changed somewhat
Along a different plan,
A dear with powder on her
nose
Goes forth to hunt a man!

AS A SENIOR
Well, here I am, a senior in
high school.
Preparing to enter that world
so cruel.
With eleven years behind mc
And seven months to go
I'm enjoying the luxury
Of the best year I know.
Studies 'n homework, some
thing to borrow.
Less than seven months, a
brand new tomorrow.
Plays 'n committees, 'n teach
ers to assist.
All this will soon be a part of
the mist.
Up in the mornin'
Hurry to get dressed!
On for some learnin'
It's all for the best.
Worries trivial 'n problems
minor.
What sort of life could be much
finer?
But that's my world as it is to
day.
Who knows what problems to
morrow will survey.
A career or a wife, which will
it be?
A little of both sounds good to
me.
First a career, and a life care
free.
Then as a wife my wears will
be.
But before it all, a school edu
cation.
That is my solemn proclama
tion.
I love it dearly, that Golden
Rule
That has reigned for years in
the past.
But soon t'will be over, my
years of school
For here I am . . . a senior at
last . . .
