Al's car has a dark green paint job, covered in spots with black primer, which shows that some body work has been done, the most notice able being the trunk, which has been leaded, and now opened with a hood latch run up to the rear window. Al is running a '40 Mercury block, equipped with dual Ford "94" pots, a 3-4 race cam and oversized racing pistons to fit the cylanders which were bored out to 60 thousands over. The heads were milled also, but the precise amount is not known. The car has been raked two inches and dual pipes were in stalled for the finish. Some of the "extras" include a column shift from a '40 Ford, hydraulic brakes, white side wall tires and a green and white leatherette interior. Al soon hopes to have a full house Merc, under the hood and a real sharp paint job. ASHLAND HOTEL Beauty Shop Phone 4311 If your hair Is not becoming to you. you should be coming to us.
