One of her most embarass- ing moments was when Dick brought her home from school one day, and her mother, upon seeing that one side of Bar bara's face was red, told her she'd "better tell Dick to shave!" "Oh, corn," can often be heard coming from Barbara, and she even comes out with it in her favorite class, which is steno. As for teachers, she said she liked 'em all. Barbara's favorite food is shrimp, which she dearly loves. When school is out, Barbara plans to join her husband in Puerto Rico and set up house keeping there. Do You Have Time to Spare? What do you do with all your ' spare time? Stop and think for a minute. Just what DO you do with it? Do you spend it on the phone like some people do, or do you just sit around and do nothing? This was the question de bated upon in a Girls' League meeting. A film on this topic was shown, and it proved true that many people do spend their spare time on the phone. When you stay on the phone for hours, do you realize that maybe someone else wishes to use the phone? After the film, Norma Ste phens called for suggestions about how to get people off the phone. Then Norma called on Barbara Owen to tell how she did all her homework, house work, and also her job. Support the advertisers.
