student body membership have
reached a level almost equal to
(hone of preceding years, ac
cording to Errilla tiearhart. as
sociate business manager of the
school paper. An election has
already been held In which only
student body members could
participate, and this has added
many names to the lists.

radio f ports announcer. Is the

ball." a new pamphlet, which
the General Foods Corporation
lias presented to the library.
"Pop" Warner. Stanlford coach.
has written his Idea of "Iron
Men." also added to our collection.

with the students," Mrs. Gra

Who Is it that Is very pleas
ant and sociable, has a peculiar
Southern drawl. Is very deliber
ate In his actions. Is always
willing to play hookey, has a
ready smile for everyone, and
liken girls (not so much)?
"My favorite activity," he
says, "Is football." He went out
for football this year and made
the first team.
This boy also said. "The sub
ject I like best Is mechanical
drawing. (It will please the
coach if I say that".) His best
friends say that he Is fairly
successful at hunting which is
his favorite sport.
