WHERE'S YOUR EGO?
Nome students are plain everyday Kilntz.cis. They
can always tell the other person what to do, but they
aren't so good at it themselves. Take, for instance, the
examples of those students who talk about the lack of
H'p. If yvu ask thein if we are going to win the next
football game, they say, "no."
The trouble with us is that we have the wrong con
ception of ep. Pep is really ego. It is lefusing to be
lieve we can, do anything but win! It is refusing to
allow anyone to believe we are not the best of all! It's
the quality of being genuinely surprised when and if we
hse. It's a child-like faith in ourselves.
Do you understand! 1'ep is unliounded belief the
kind that is not lost even though it is wrong.
