Clyde Dunham was high point man of the squad, collecting ten points In the two meets. Clyde won first place in the broad Jump. at Klamath Falls with a span of 20 feet 2 inches. At the Grants Pass meet, he placed sec ond In the 220 and fifth In broad Jump. Dunham was awarded a bronze placque at Klamath Falls nnd a silver medal at Grants Pass. Benjamin Goidle ited for first place tn the high Jump at I 5 feet 8 inches in the Klamath meet and placed fifth at Grants Pass, collecting a total of six points. About 60 girls, dressed In rompers, cavorted about the Medford high play ground and gym, April 30, in the first Med ford -Ashland Play day. The af fair was arranged by Miss Car rie Degermark, Medford High physical education Instructor, and Miss Mary Magoon of the Ashland department. The day'a schedule included four sport contests for each team basball, stunts and relays, volley ball, and quoit tennis. There were eight color teams. At noon lunch was eaten in the cafeteria, after which there was a program of stunts, put on by the different groups and the teachers, who staged a gum chewing number. At the end of the day each team's points were added to make a final score.
