Fret' swimming instruction may be offered to the Ash
land public school students at the Twin Plunges for a
small tank fee of about ten cents. The instruction to be
supervised by Matt Thompson, Y.M.C.A. Secretary, if the
plan outlined by the School Hoard recently, is worked
out.
In many schools a tank is provided and a knowledge of
swimming is required of the students
we have not had that opportunity. Most children learn
at some time, but there are some who are ignorant in
that regard. The jwrents may not realize the importance
of swimming proficiency or they may not be able to af
ford instruction
