The game played in Weed, January 8, was rough and full of pre couference mistakes. Our next game was played with Yreka, January 9. Ashland sent the Yreka aggregation home with a defeat of 27 to 15. The game made the Lithians look rather good. It was fast and tol erably free of roughness. Ashland met her first defeat of the season at the hands of met an entirely demoralized squad from Grants Pass on the night of February 19 and sent them back to their caves, with the score of 24 to 13.
