The Girls League is working hard, lacquering pine cones to brighten the tree. On Thursday. December 10, the com mittee in charge stayed after school and made decorations. They were Mary Herbert, Sylvia Martin. Marjorie Mills, Betlr Dean, Rachel Forsythe, Perry Ashcraft, Napolean Eskridge. j Buster Newhouse, ' Karl Moore, ' and Harold Gillmore. They had dinner after the decorations were I finished. This community tree has been held In former years, and shows that the Yuletide spirit is not larking in Ashland.
