Community Christmas Tree. The
Girls' League is helping with the

Plaza, and MIfs Reg'ha Johnson
of the Tidings is supervising the
decorations. The Girls League is
working hard, lacquering pine
cones to brighten the tree. On
Thursday. December 10, the com
mittee in charge stayed after
school and made decorations.
They were Mary Herbert, Sylvia
Martin. Marjorie Mills, Betlr
Dean, Rachel Forsythe, Perry
Ashcraft, Napolean Eskridge. j

and Harold Gillmore. They had
dinner after the decorations were I
finished.
This community tree has been
held In former years, and shows
that the Yuletide spirit is not
larking in Ashland.
