some of my Christmas shopping.
My, the stores have fascinating
displays. I wet Into J. C.
PENNEY'S to get toys tor
Johnny and Betty. They hare a
Toyland that attracts even grown
nps. Hen's presents seem hard
to buy until you go to PENNEY'S
there It's a matter of choice.
Scads of pretty novelties, sta
tionery, and handkerchiefs also
lend suggestions. As for seals,
tags, cards, cord, wrapping pa
per buy at PENNEY'S.
Dad needs one of those dandy
cigar lighters from HARRISON'S
PARTS Co. and I'm getting the
Cigars at NININGER'S. They
have a splendid assortment of
cigars, cigarettes, pipes, tobacco,
and the like. While in there I
also bought magazines for vaca
tion spare time. The NIXING ER
CAFE service is very fine, as
you know, I'm planning to take
the family down a number of
times during vacation.
I dropped into CLAYCOMB
MOTOR COMPANY to look ov
er a display of Tire Locks and
Covers, Cigarette Lighterrs, Ra
diator Caps, Spot Lights, Lap
Robes. Motor Meters, and Fen
der Lamps I had been told of.
It was the kind of display that
you have such a hard time tak
ing Dad from. Their new Fords
are surely good-looking.
The Bulova watch I bought
from WHITE'S last year 1b bet
ter than ever, and they have new
styles. Why not get some Gen
