THANKSGIVING
Pel haps, arising from the family celebration of the
Pilgrims, Thanksgiving is still peculiarly a family day

awhile to think, as everyone should do, of the good, old

As the curtain raises we find
our hero. Oscar, in the sewer I
looking for clues as to the vil
lain's whereabouts. As he prowls !
around in the dark, disturbed
only by the rumble of subway
trains, he speaks:
"Ah. woe is me. Here I am,!

and I am assigned to the sewer.
Wero it not for fair Rosamund I
would certainly resign and go
west."

All members of the Rogue Xews staff and journalism
class have been given a Medford Hi-Times that they mi'y
get ideas for the bettering of the Rogue News. from them.
On the whole we believe the Hi-Times to be an excellent
paper, meeting journalistic standards well, and, as many
will remember, it received first prize in the State cham
pionship contest last year.
The first fifty students in Medford High School to call
for the Hi-Times are also given a Rogue News.

As he was about to throw open

AVe often wonder if the wives rf Professor Forsythe
and SuH'rintendent Rriseoe know how handy they are in
the kitchen. They exhibited their ability by helping the
girls clean up the kitchen after the Klamath-Ashland
Banquet, Armistice Hay.
We appreciate the work and time that, Coach Bliss has
given tt the football team for our school, even though the
team was not as successful this year as in tho fonner
years. AVe eannct always expect to be winners.
