the first of two nights of cabaret-styled mu
sic and comedy to benefit Cascade AIDS
Project’s Camp Starlight, a weeklong resi
dential camp for children ages 5-14 affected
by HIV/AIDS. The Chicago-based “dy
namic duo” of Amy Armstrong and Freddy
Allen are back with the signature repartee
that’s made them a crowd-pleasing act coast
to coast.

• As Just Out went to print came welcome
word of an event we’re happy to report is,
indeed, happening this year after all. The
annual Dyke March, an “official Portland
Pride event,” will step off at 6 p.m. Saturday,
June 18, with the lineup forming an hour
earlier. The march will follow the same
route as last year, beginning at the North
Park Blocks (N. Park Ave. and W. Burnside
St.) and following the Sunday Pride Parade
route down W. Burnside, north on Broad
way, east on Davis and south on Naito Park
way to Tom McCall Waterfront Park.
