lowing church services at 12:30 p.m. Eastrose,
a welcoming congregation, is embarking on its
second series of LGBTQfilm screenings with
BreakJ'ast w ith Scot, a film exploring the issue
of gay parenting.
Each Sunday following services, those in­
terested have the opportunity to view a film,
followed by an open discussion.

• In other discussion forums, the inaugural
meeting of PDX Queer People of Color
(Q P O C ) takes place Eriday, March 11 from 6
to 9 p.m. at Local Lounge (3536 NE MLK
Blvd.). The first meeting is closed to self-
identified queer people of color only, and a
discussion will be offered about the role of
allies in QPOC PDX and attendance for fu­
ture events.

• Kendall Clawson returns to Q_Center fol­
lowing her recent appointment to the Gov­
ernor’s staff as Director of Executive Appoint­
ments. The Q_ Center board hosts an open
house in honor of Clawson and her three years
of inspired leadership Saturday, March 12
from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the center (4115 N.
Mississippi Ave.).
