Headliner and organizer Sonny Hess is a local legend, having shared the stage with such luminaries as Etta James and Average White Band. Best o f all, she’s still gracing Northwest audiences with her hearty, rugged blues guitar work. Lisa Mann is another buzz-heavy name on the bill, the recipient of the 2009 Muddy Awards for Best Bass and Best Vocal. Other soulful ladies to bring the rafters down for a cure include the earth-shaking Rae Gordon, drum virtuoso Kelly Pierce, and retro god dess Claudia Knauer.
