The Breathe Free team will make a presentation. The Jan. 23 meeting is a workshop hosted by the Ham­ bleton Project on “Removing the Barriers,” discussing how to improve communication with your health care provider. The Feb. 27 meeting is a sing-along with guitarist Mary Rose hosted by Older Lesbians Organizing for Change. BRO’s education fund donated $14,600 to the No on 43 campaign, raised an additional $7,000 for the campaign and sent 10,000 mailings to educate queer and allied Oregonians about the dangers of the anti-choice parental notification measure. The organization educated nation­ al queer organizations about swing races in the Legislature. Those donors contributed more than $20,000 direct­ ly to pro-queer candidates in Oregon.
