CASCADE AIDS PROJECT (CAP) SEEKS A MEN’S WELLNESS CENTER COORDINATOR
TO COORDINATE OUR NEW MEN’S WELLNESS CENTER AND PROGRAMMING EFFORTS
TO PREVENT HIV INFECTION IN GAY/BI MEN.
Responsibilities: develop wellness center policies and procedures; plan, coor
dinate, and oversee day-to-day operations of the center; develop and maintain
collaborative relationships; recruit, train and manage volunteers; assist in the
development,
promotion
and
scheduling
of
programming;
conduct outreach to the gay/bi men’s community; complete reports.
Minimum Reguirements: Bachelor’s degree in related field or eguivalent expe
rience in HIV prevention with the gay and bi men’s community; ability to col
laborate with community partners; exceptional interpersonal and
relationship-building skills; strong verbal and written communication skills;
computer proficiency; must be highly organized and able to exercise
professional judgment in challenging situations.
Preferred: managing volunteers and Spanish language fluency Compensation:
high $20s to mid $30s to start, depending on experience; generous vacation;
401(k) plan with employer match; employer-paid health, dental, vision, life and
disability insurance; 125 C plan.
