P ride of the R ose S cholarships A vailable N ow The Pride of the Rose Scholarship, adminis tered through Equity Foundation and led by Frank Schreckenberger, Allison Grey, Scoty Devore Fox and Lotta Marie Liquor, is having a successful 26th year. Scholarship applications are being accepted until July 31. On May 22 the second Touch of Class din ner, auction and show raised more than $9,000. There were $2,000 in door proceeds, $6,000 in auction proceeds and $1,000 in tips and dona tions. Scholarships will be announced during the annual Turnabout fund-raiser Sept. 11 at Darcelle XV. The Pride of the Rose Scholarship provides educational assistance to the sexual minorities community and children of queer folks pursuing schixiling beyond the secondary level.
