On behalf of Pride Northwest, Inc. I would like to say thank you, thank you,
thank you to all of the volunteers who assisted in assuring the weekend was
enjoyable for all who participated, as well as the sponsors who provided us
with resources, so Pride could take place. Thank you to the vendors who
gave us reason to shop and all who came out this past weekend to celebrate
Pride 05! The weather held and gave us sunshine to party in. The performers
gave us a reason to wiggle.
On Sunday evening, as our small board helped with the break down tasks,
we all agreed it was worth it. Through the struggle that was this past
planning year, it was still worth it. For everyone who took the time to give us
feedback and those who have pledged their support and involvement
during the next year, thank you. We look forward to working with you to
improve upon the coming years celebration.To all those who opposed the
changes; I welcome you to get involved. Don't just lend us ideas; lend us a
hand to incorporate them. Let's do it together. It's our Pride...let's own it.
A very special thank you to the rest of the board for all their hard work this
year; Nicole Browning, Vickie Britton, Patrick Olson, Stef-Anie Wells and our
hardworking staffer, Ady Oren. Together guys, we pulled off the seemingly
impossible. To my daughter Jamie, your assistance and support are
immeasurable.

Mark your calendars for July 13, 2005, 6:3t)p.m. Pride Northwest Inc. will
hold a community forum at Portland State University. We are looking

there as we begin planning for Pride 06!
