I
believe Mosman when he says
biased against gays, that he wants to
debunk any idea that he is and that he
against the Oregon Citizens Alliance’s
sures during the past decade.
People with biases often
the majority with people of the same biases. If
Mosman had such a bias, he would worry about
risking his base of supporters.

wrote and the conditions under which he
wrote it. The opinions would not really reflect
his personal views.

1 can ’t believe people are giving Marty
Davis, editor of Just O ut, a hard time for
pointing out that obesity causes serious
health problems. T he effect o f obesity on
health is now as well documented as the
effects o f smoking.
I’m proud that the editor of our community
paper is willing to take stands on controversial
issues. You’re great, Marty!

n the May 2 issue of Just Out, Jamie Bolyard
wrote the article titled “Dykes on Tap.” In
her review of the Egyptian Club and the
karaoke room there was an error, hopefully
out of misinformation. Austyn, the man who
is the bartender in the karaoke room, is nei
ther a her nor a she. The correct pronouns are
he and him.
Respect is what we all want, and when our
LG BT newspaper and one of its writers show a
lack of it, it is cause for concern. I don’t know
whether it was an oversight or just simply failure
to check the information, but I certainly think a
personal *and public apology would be in order.
Also, in the article by Michael Burdick he
used the word “trannies” l“lt’s Queer, It’s Here,
G o to It”J. A trannie is in a car, not a person. I
realize the term is popular; that does not make
it right. Thanks for the soapbox to stand on.

May 2].
I was on vacation from down in southern Ore
gon and first went in May 2. That night 1 saw a
couple of guys who really should not be up on stage.
Then I saw Tyler. I thought his performances
were great. He really gets into the beat and uses
the whole stage. I could take him home to meet
my mom and tell her what he does for fun.
Another hottie that night was Max. I only got
to see his last performance but was hcxiked after it.
1 decided to return May 3 and watched all of
the dancers but kept my eyes on Tyler and Max
during their shows. They both received many
tips from me.
I do have to compliment both guys, as they
walk among the audience and thank the people,
which I truly appreciate. I had a chance once or
twice to chat with Tyler, and he is such a nice guy.

When 1 returned May 6, the first show for
Tyler was a duo, which 1 think was a great mis
take. He needs the stage to himself unless he
gets to be up there with Max.
Well, there is my two cents’ worth. 1 will return
as scxin as I can up to Portland and to Silverado to
see Tyler and Max and the other guys perform. I
did enjoy my vacation thanks to Tyler and Max.
