This question has long been socially and politically
controversial, yet science has yet to provide conclusive
evidence one way or the other— until now. A group at
Oregon Health & Science University headed by Charles
Roselli found that sexual preference is associated with the
size of a certain area within the brain.
Studies correlating brain structure to behavior are usu
ally impossible to conduct with human subjects— mainly
because in order to examine details of the brain, it must
be removed from the skull, thus sacrificing the animal. In
