Although the Macintosh introduced the mouse to personal computers
back in 1984, sometimes keyboard navigation is faster. In most
Macintosh windows you can type the first few letters of an item and
jump to it. On the desktop, for example, type "tr" to select the Trash.
You can then use the "tab" key to move through items alphabetically
or use your keyboard's arrow keys to go left or right among icons.
