L
esbian comic Suzanne Westenhoefer is com
ing to Portland on April 7 to perform her
new stand-up show I’m Not Cindy Brady at
the Aladdin Theater as part of Equity Founda
tion’s 10th anniversary celebration.
Westenhoefer is steadily building a national
reputation as a consistently hilarious performer
who prefers to point out the similarities among
people, rather than the differences.
On April 8, she heads to Eugene to perform
at the Wild Duck.

McNally’s Tony Award-winning Master
Class, which explores the life and artistry
of opera diva Maria Callas.
Director Jon Kretzu says, besides crafting a
portrait of the artist, “McNally uses the play as
a vehicle to explore even more complex issues,
such as the relationship of artists to their art
and the enigma of talent— and the loss of it.”
The play runs through April 23 at the
Reiersgaard Theatre, 1516 S.W. Alder St.
