I panic with the thought o f not having a gay pnde parade and celebration in the future. What is wrong, why aren’t some o f you boomers and younger men and women jumping at the chance to get involved in the most important and fun celebration o f the year for us? I am 68, have volunteered myself to our community for the past 22 years, and can’t imag ine how any one o f us could not want to con tinue our traditions. If we don’t, who will? She caused a dream to become a real ity when she organised and guided the senior com m ittee via Phoenix Rising. The soon-to-be published senior directory, and the space where the Lesbian Fifty-Plus social group now meets would not have happened if it were not for her efforts.
