ny Live in C oncert C D to be titled K eiko’s
Dream. A song of the same name, dedicated
to the ex-Oregonian, will be on the disc. Pro
ceeds from the sale of the C D will benefit the
foundation. T he C D is scheduled for a fall
release.

Elton in Wyoming
ut Brit rocker Elton John has agreed to
perform a concert in Laramie, Wyo., to
benefit the Matthew Shepard Foundation;
University of Wyoming Fund for the Matthew
Shepard Chair of Civil Liberties; the South
west Poverty Law Center; the Gay, Lesbian,
Straight Educational Network; and others,
reports The Associated Press.
The concert is scheduled for June 1 at the
University of Wyoming’s Arena-Auditorium.
John, according to Pollstar, was the top
U.S. concert draw of 1998.

take to the lanes at the 16th annual Rose-
bowl Classic Invitational Bowling Tourna
ment, to be held June 4 to 6 at Hollywood
Lanes, 4030 N.E. Halsey St. in Portland. Mem
bers of the community are invited to cheer on
the players— a crew that generally reaches
nearly 300 bowlers hailing from the United
States, Canada and New Zealand.
On Saturday, June 5, starting at 7 p.m.,
there will also be Boxer Bowl, a public Rose-
bowl event. Participants, both men and
women, will be bowling in boxer shorts, with
awards going for the best boxers.

ing his position and returning to his native
England, according to a statement issued hy
the magazine. Collard joined O U T in February
1998.
Collard, who replaced Sarah Pettit when
her contract was not renewed, will continue
his association with the magazine as a colum
nist. Col lard’s immediate professional plans are
to write for the London Times, The Guardian
and The Observer, as well as to work on a bcxik.
