We’re back! Cascade AIDS Project and the Center for AIDS Prevention Studies
have been conducting a joint survey of gay and bisexual men in Portland. For the
past two years, more than 1600 gay and bisexual men have participated in this
research project. The data from the first two surveys are now being analyzed by
scientists from the Center for AIDS Prevention Studies. Findings from the project
are already being used to help Cascade AIDS Project, and other Portland-area
AIDS agencies, provide more efficient services to the gay/bisexual male
community.
During the months o f January, February and March, we will be contacting you
again to complete this year’s survey. We need to reach as many o f the original
men in the survey as possible, so that we can find out how attitudes and behaviors
of gay/bisexual men in the Portland area are changing over time. This is the third
of five annual surveys.
Confidentiality is absolutely guaranteed. Please continue to be part o f a
project that helps the Cascade AIDS Project do a better job for Portland! I f you
have questions, or need more information, contact Dan Bueling at Cascade A TPS
Project, 223-5907 ext. 128, or Ron Stall, collect, at the Center for AID S Prevention
Studies, (415) 597-9155.
We look forward to talking
with vou again!
