the rosie" he had ever joined Over 30,000 people, carrying H.000feet oj red ribbon, formed
double human rings around the Capitol, demanding Congressional action on the AIDS crisis. This
was the largest AIDS-specific event of the March weekend, and culminated with a rally featuring a
fiery present at urn by AIDS activist Larry Kramer.

in the plaza next to the newly-opened Holoc aust Museum, commemorating lesbians
and gay men who were victims of the Holocaust.
Dr Klaus Muller, curator oj the lesbian and gay portion of the museum, told
stories of vie tims whose lives he had discovered during his researt h Some vigil
participants wept, while others slocnl in numb disbelief .
