Eugene's Transister returns to rock
Portland at the Primary Domain. This
dynam ic band of women has been de­
lig hting audiences in Oregon for two
years, and w ill keep you dancing to their
dynam ic m ix of original songs and con­
tem porary favorites. Show begins at 9:30
p.m., and the $5.00 cover charge includes
a free draft beer or soft drink. The Prim ary

Sussex and veteran Project LUCK volun­
teer, Pat Lynch, w ill d iscuss som e of the
unique issues for gay and lesbian street
youth as w ell as outline som e of their uni­
que service needs. They w ill a lso define
hom ophobia, and encourage training
p a rticip a nts to exam ine their own
hom ophobic attitudes. There is a $5.00
charge for this workshop if you are not a
Project LUCK agency staff or volunteer.

Forum suggests a $2 donation to help de­

along with Tom Am m iano the now infam ­
ous G ay Com edy Nights at San Francis­
c o 's Va lencia Rose, is now a sin g le act.
A lone, she provides us with an entertain­
ing hour of slic k progressive ja zz and out­
rageous com edy antics that scream , "I'm
G ay and that's O.K."
Le a 's m essage is sim p le. "D yke s and
Fa g s have got to get along." Her work
tow ard "c lo sin g the cha sm " between the
two com m unities has not gone unnoticed,
w inning her San Francisco's C ritics
