A dult acting classes w ill include sessions for beginning and advanced students. In add ition, the C.T.C. w ill offer a cla ss for Reluctant O rators, designed for people who m ust speak in front of groups but don't w ant to, Living Portraits, a c la ss com bin ing acting and w riting sk ills, and The Ac to r's Tools, an exploration of voice, move ment and im provisation. The show opens with a free, public reception on Thursday, Septem ber 4 from 7-9 p.m. The exhibit continues through Saturday, Septem ber 23 with a closing reception featuring a performance by Portland's own Urban Art Workers, form erly the Ironkore Industrial Workers. On the Job prom ises to be an exciting and thought-provoking show featuring w orks of art in a ll m edia in the m ain g a l lery, a m ail art show in the vault room, and a sp ec ia l exhibition of Northwest Artists W orkshop's board of directors' artworks in the east gallery.
