winner Queen Ida and the Bon Temps Zydeco
Band performing the music of Louisiana's
"bayou country.” The doors open at the Pine
Street Theatre on 9th and S.E. Pine at 7:30

Portland Opera presents Cosi Fan Tutti by
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart at 8 pm, Portland
Civic Auditorium.
Mozart’s witty comedy of masquerade and
romance is filled with Don Alfonso’s trickery,
his accomplice Despina’s skullduggery and
the ardent devotion of the lovers Guglielmo
and Ferrando. Winifred Faix-Brown sings the
role of Fiordigli, one of the sweethearts who is
duped by the humorous plot. William Stone
is Gugleilmo, one of the two dashing young
offices who bet Alfonso he cannot prove their
sweethearts are fickle.
