pied by interesting exhibits and a great
many really worthy articles had to be
crowded out for want of room. An

Louil Feurer Bottled (lambrinus Beer. A very neatly arranged
exhibit in the shape of a pyramid.
I. Samuel A handsome collection of Aquariums, Flower Stands
Ferneries and Brackets. They arc from the largest manufactory
in the world, and well worthy of examination. Illustrated Cata

West Short Office- -Showing Type Setting and Distributing, Print
ing and l'jigraving, and printing a Daily Paper, the Portland
Mkktttitt Fair, right on tlie spot. The West Shore is a valuable

Smith Bros. & Watson Steam Engine and Boiler, Steam Pumis,
Hot Air F'urnnces. The extensive Foundry and Machine Shuta
of these gentlemen is locnteil at the foot of Hall street, and the
excellent samples of their own work on exhibition in the Pavilion,
sieak volumes of what can lie done in the way of home pro
duction. We defy any country to produce a better made boiler
or engine than are exhibited by this firm.

shaft of the pavilion.

a fine display of Artist's Materials, including Tube Colors of the
